My First Ever Three Day Juice Cleanse

It’s that time of year again. The snow has melted, the grass is turning green, and the weather is getting warmer (finally)! After a long winter of comfort foods and overindulgence, it is time for my body to hit the reset button and get back into clean eating.

I am a creature of habit and have a very difficult time transitioning from winter eating to summer eating. Usually, I go cold turkey and stop buying the “wintry” foods I love to eat, but this year I am trying something new. I am going to complete my first ever Three Day Juice Cleanse!

After doing some research to find out how long I should juice cleanse, I found a really helpful article from The Huffington Post titled ‘The Real Reasons Juice Cleanses Can Get Your Health Back on Track.”

As stated in the article, “…it is essential to break the cycle of dependence on saturated fats, refined carbohydrates, processed foods, and excess of caffeine and alcohol,” which is exactly what I am looking to do.

At Raw Can Roll Café, we offer Juice Cleanse Packages which include six 16 oz bottles of fresh pressed juices. We leave it up to the customer to decide how long they want to cleanse for. Some do one day and others do three or more.

I am so excited to complete my first ever three day juice cleanse and detox the winter right out of me. If you’ve juice cleansed in the past, feel free to share your experience-I’d love to hear any tips and tricks you have to get through it!
